Robert D. Jones (MDiv, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; DMin, Westminster Theological Seminary; DTheol, University of South Africa) is associate professor of biblical counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville and has served in pastoral ministry for over thirty years.

Edward T. Welch is a counselor and faculty member at the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). He is author of a number of books, including When People Are Big and God Is Small and Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave.

James C. Petty (MDiv, DMin, Westminster Theological Seminary) is emeritus director of the Children’s Jubilee Fund.

Jeffrey S. Black is a pastor at Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia and adjunct faculty member of the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation’s School of Biblical Counseling in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

David Powlison (MDiv, Westminster Theological Seminary; MA, PhD, University of Pennsylvania) was executive director of the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation in Glenside, Pennsylvania, and the editor of the Journal of Biblical Counseling. He taught at Westminster Theological Seminary and was a board member and fellow of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
