EDITORIAL

I have a book I would like to submit to P&R. What is the process I should follow?
To submit an unsolicited manuscript, follow the instructions on our manuscript submissions page. Note that P&R does not publish: art books, descriptions of spirit encounters or visions, fictionalized Bible stories, memoirs, prophecy or “Bible code” books, poetry, romance novels.

What Reformed Expository Commentaries (REC) are coming out next?

  • Deuteronomy by Trent Casto (2025)
  • Job by Douglas Sean O'Donnell (2025)
  • Psalms 1–41 by Iain M. Duguid & James Duguid (2026)
  • Acts by Terry L. Johnson (2026)
  • Exodus by William B. Barcley (2026)

Is this title available as an eBook? When will it be available?
Many of our new titles come out as eBooks at the same time that the print edition is released, or a few weeks after. Older titles are increasingly becoming available. Check the book’s webpage to see currently available formats.

What should I do if I find a typo or error in a P&R publication?
We appreciate our alert readers! If you spot a mistake in a book you read, write to editorial@prpbooks.com, giving the title, author, page number, and description of the error so that we can correct it in our next printing.

Does P&R publish anything besides Bible studies and commentaries? Any fiction or children’s books?
P&R publishes books in various genres, including apologetics, Christian living, counseling, women’s resources, and youth & fiction. For young children (ages 3–7) we have Sally Michael’s Making Him Known Series. For middle schoolers and teens (ages 8–16) we offer the gospel-driven Quest for Truth series, Doug Bond’s historical fiction, The Chosen Daughters series, and Starr Meade’s family devotions. Fantasy fans ages 12 and up will enjoy The Binding of the Blade series and The Dark Harvest Trilogy.

Do any of these books come with study guides?
We offer free downloadable study guides and leader’s guides for select books. Click HERE for a listing of books that come with free study resources.

QUERIES

I am a proofreader/copyeditor. May I work with P&R?
You are welcome to send your query and résumé to editorial@prpbooks.com.

I am a translator. May I work with P&R?
Unfortunately P&R does not hire translators.

I have an idea for a book, but I haven’t written any sample chapters yet. May I send a query?
You are welcome to fill out a submission form to gauge possible interest from P&R. However, P&R does not accept proposals without seeing sample chapters as well as the submission form, and an initial expression of interest does not indicate that a full proposal will be accepted later in the process.

I am a book reviewer/radio interviewer. May I request P&R titles for review?
We welcome bloggers, journal reviewers, magazine reviewers, radio interviewers, and NetGalley users. Please read about our reviewer program below for more information. To schedule an author interview contact marketing@prpbooks.com.
